i have a stock bottom end 5.3 in my camaro. stock down to the rod bolts. it's got a set of prc stage 2.5 ls6 heads on it, and the cam is 232/240 @ .050, .595/.609 112+4. it's got a 750 double pumper and a vic jr on it and is equipped with a t56. the car has been 12.70@113mph all motor at a heavy 3700lbs with 89 octane in the tank, on a regular street tire. so far i'm pretty happy about it. my only purpose for having this engine in my car at the moment is because the 370 is at the machine shop getting refreshed.
