Clear answer on 5.3 to 6.0 swap

I know this has been covered over and over again. But even with the tons of reading I've done, my head is just spinning instead of finding out answers. So can someone PLEASE help. I have 2006 1500 Z71 with a 5.3 liter. Will a 6.0 liter drop in with no issues???????? I know ill have to get a PCM or get mine programmed. Can someone please for heaven sakes clearly answer this question

It will be as easy as replacing your current engine. You will need to have your pcm reprogrammed. Talk to Nelson Performance about your pcm.

As long as it is gen 3 and not gen 4 it will drop right in.

To add to the confusion, as long as you are swapping 24x/2x crank /cam sensor and not 58x/4x crank cam sensor you are golden. The crank sensor tooth count is identified by its color, I wanna say black is 24x and gray is 58x, also on the 4x cam sensor systems, the cam sensor is on the front of the timing cover. Hope this helps, and if
Any info is wrong please correct it, I hate to give misleading information

Yes it will swap. Even if you change from Gen III to Gen IV, just use this:

Just do the swap and see what happens, trial and error can yield lots of answers
