just a funny story/ nelson fan harness instal

i spanked my buddies 02 f-150 today after he talked enough s**** to fill up a septic tank haha it wasnt even close but his truck is all stock and i have some tasteful mods on mine then after he asked what he had to do get his moving a little quicker i didnt know so i started to look on some ford fourms to try and help him out and all i can say is man we got it good! there is nothing really out there for him besides intakes and some over priced hand tuners i didnt go to in depth so hey i may be wrong but it wouldnt be the first time. i didnt realize that we have so much available to us to upgrade our vehicles for a decant price when compared to other vehicle platforms. and just while im on here letting some thoughts out i got my fan harness from nelson today i made it seem alot harder than what it actually was. the worst part about the whole thing was the pin that goes in the ecu came off the wire i was worried at first but then i eventually went to the stealership and they gave me a couple pins for free! once it was all said and done everything went pretty smooth i had called and left a message with np right when i saw pin off on the harness and not even 30 minutes late erica had called me back telling me that they would do whatever necessary to help. i love that kind of customer care! the only thing now is that my fans wont turn on with the ac engaged pretty sure i just tapped into the wrong green wire and im not worried about it right now because the temp wont get above 30 here until march although im sure ill work it out tomorrow because of bordem haha the most upsetting thing about the whole thing was i had to turn in my mirrors to have more working room in my one car garage and when i went to turn out the driver side mirror it broke but now it just gives me a reason to put on those 2500 mirrors ive wanted haha so all in all me 1 ford 0, im glad i bought something that has so much potential, nelson has great products and custom service, and i finally have a reason to getthose mirrors ive been wanting for so long. have a good weekend ya'll!

I agree on the Ford parts - fricking two cams on my Supercrew wasn't cheap. I said, phug it.. and left it stock.

It's basically stupid boltons or supercharger nothing in between really. Some years can be tuned with hptuners and most with SCT.

Yeah sorry it a specture cold air intake I ment to change or when updated my sig to be more clear bit it slipped my mind I added a pic in my sig too but I can't see it can you guys?
