lol idk. I thought the newer 8.6 axles are a different diameter than the older 8.5 axles. What carrier would I need?

I'm using an 03 rear end and factory carrier. The older ones are 28 spline and newer stuff is 30 spline. I've even used a carrier from a 97 model 10 bolt in a 00 model housing. Your factory carrier can be used just make sure you order a 30 spline spool if you have 30 spline axles .

Just bought another mini spool , I've got another set of axles. Got to hurry up and get it off the lift at work and I have to buy Christmas for my 4 y.o. so I'm only out about 80 bucks to get it moving again . Also just won a Hurst quarter stick on eBay for 21 bucks!
