    Truck preparation for track!

Hey guys, I'm about to hit the track with actual slicks FINALLY, lol. As I understand it I'm going from a 275/45/20 which is 29.7ish tall. I got some 28" Hoosiers for it. When I change the diameter in HPTuners will it bounce off the rev limiter before shifting or even shift at all? What do you do to prevent that? I'm pretty f n lost when it comes to hp!

It shifts based on rpm and/or mph. Best thing to do it change the tire height on hptuners. Should take 2 minutes including flashing

Is it just me or after every flash it takes about 100ish miles to learn the changes???? Seems like it always bounces the rev limiter. Anyone else see this??

You can always zero out the mph tables and just do it based on rpm. I have never had issues with it taking any time to figure out the shifts, but I don't beat on my truck too hard.

if the engine is bouncing off the rev limiter:

    - shifts are too close to rev limiter, shifts too high; rev limiter too low.
    - trans slipping
    - tire and gear size ain't correct, which is the same as the first issue
