    the turbo 5.3 died

Made a long 3rd gear pull at10lbs yesterday on the highway, not sure of the speed but the truck was chine walking like a boat! I slowed down and turned in the driveway followed by a cloud of smoke. Engine still sounds good and has good oil pressure it just smokes like hell. I'm hoping for a blown head gasket but with my luck it probably tore up some serious stuff.

Ringland? Did you re-gap the rings for the build?

Im thinking the turbo too. Check that first. Check your cold pipes and downpipe to see if there is oil

I'm gonna check it this evening, had my kid with me yesterday. I'm gonna start by checking the intake piping and start pulling shit off. Didnt re gap the rings.
