    Whats up with vette drivers?

Can't seem to get them to race. They got fast cars, but seem to be afraid to run them. Anyone else have this problem or is my truck just to damn intimidating Sorry was supposed to be in racers lounge

Come to Austin, lots of high end cars that have drivers who think they are "entitled". Love blowing their doors off in an ext cab truck

Prolly cause most vette drivers are over 30 or 40. They are "responsible"

Probably cuz most c5Z- C6Z / LS3 are mid 12 to mid 11 second cars from the FACTORY and it would take more than a "cammed and stalled" 5000lb truck to blow their doors off.... Just saying I've had both and it takes a whole hell of a lot of truck to run down even a base vette and yes most people that have one think they are too good to run silly trucks lol

Sometimes you're so bull of bravo sierra. I can't keep up to a 'Vette on motor, and I know damn well I'd blow your doors off.

come to abilene, i'll race ya
about the only people around here who want to do anything are people who wanna just see if they can keep up. there are a few that're definitely faster than mine & they seem to be the more 'responsible' folks that we just have an understanding between us that "they'll win - done".

oh, & there's an LS3 ECSB 2wd that runs pretty good.

what's funnier is that even though they don't really 'race', a lot of the vette crew (most of which are retired or close to it) love to go hot-dogging it around the edge of town on the way to our restaurant of the week

Maybe not a c6 but a c5 u could handle on motor, but yea its usually because they think theyre faster so why even bother, my ex father in law has a c6 and he would race anyone that pulled up next to him
