The beds too far gone so converting to stake bed, slamming it down, and gettin smoothie 8lugs. I got the big block v6 to turn over but cant get it passed that. Maybe once i make it a roller itll be easier!

Man its gonna be so sick slammed with the smoothies!! IMO it needs a 500 caddy under the hood. I sometimes wish my 49 wasnt in such good shape, i would rock that style in a heartbeat.

I hope to finish the body and hang the drivers side door. Then off with the bed and begin to drop it rat rod style!

Thanls bro! Hope with my broke ass ankle I can get the bed pulled and seat pulled tomorrow so i can continue to wet sand and clear the cab. If im lucky enough to come across some 19.5 old school tires ill hop on them but until them itll be a roller on some 32" tires with smoothie 80s model 3/4 ton wheels. So far i got $0.00 into it cause i had the clear lacquer left over from ol red when i did the mirror caps over a yr ago! If i can get the start workin itll fire for sure. These big block v6s are rare and make killer tq numbers for their size!

This truck was loaded to the gills for its yr. Came with optional 4ways that still work and dash mounted ac i found a dealer part number on. If we had a house and were on our feet beteter it surely would get a nbs 3/4ton frame and drivetrain. Maybe one day. Was hoping to have it running by heatwave so we will see.

Ya i just started wet sanding it and the patina was priceless so had to leave it. Only throwing the clear to keep the patina from aging too fast. I know ill end of CLR and Red Scotch bright pad it more later to bring out the patina more. I plan to find some "Papa" mirror for it and hope they are patina as well or ill just give them the brush stainless look. Ive got some of the Plymouth done in flat white too and hoping to get the hood welded together by a friend soon...
