take a small wire.. connect the pins on opposite ends of the connector. secure with electrical tape, and heat shrink tubing.. error goes away.

    1) at least a 1/4 of sloppiness in the pedal before the brakes begin to apply.. the pedal literally feels loose before you touch it. I have not read of anyone fixing this.. but i have ideas
    2) DOUBLE CHECK the booster you get, because the part numbers for some of the lines are DIFFERENT.. you may think you have one from a 2500 HD truck but in reality it may be one from an express van. The HARDLINE on the DRIVERS side of the booster is the one im referencing..
    3) when mounting the new booster, as we all know, the bolt holes all line up .. except one.. make it easy on yourself, cut away the rubber covering on the inside of the truck.. that way its easier to see the bolt.
My pedal and booster did come from a truck. It was a wrecked 3/4 ton.

Hydroboost swap is done... mostly. I still have to bleed the brakes again and cycle the ABS.

    A few lessons learned.

    1) My brake lines aren't the standard size, they're bigger and metric.
    2) My master cylinder wont work with the booster from an 08.
    3) The master from the 08 won't work with my brake lines
    4) Its always good to carry a fire extinguisher.
