Took my truck on a 60 mile tour up to my gran's this weekend. Get there and everyone is checking my truck out, so I fired it up, it then proceeded to start idling at 2200rpm. The intake manifold was dropped when I was building the engine and the brake booster nipple broke off. I JB welded it back on to avoid having to replace the manifold and I guess that didn't hold too good. Just wondering if anyone has drilled and put a fitting in the LS6 intake manifold and how to go about it or if it can be done. Then I'll just plug the other hole off with something. Sucks not having power brakes!!! At least it's a standard so the engine brakes it pretty good.
