Changed my axle seal for the first time

Moser dana 60 was leaking out of the axle and i really had no idea how to fix it. Allen walked me thru the process of removing the axle thru text and i got it all back together with no leaks and problems. Thanks to Nelson Performance
    Great learning experience for me

More pics of the truck IMO, I love it. Are you running a shackle flip and zero rate out back? How do you like the ride?

I don't know what zero rate means but the leaf springs are my next project to fix. They keep getting crooked because they are not lined up properly. Not sure if I should put a spacer on the frame or move the spring on the axle yet. ill find more pics of it to post.

Looks like fun Illya. I swung by CGYS a few weeks ago to get a quote on a gear swap front and rear. Ended up not doing it because they couldn't get me in until the day before SAR.

Yeah they stay very busy, they told me they would fix my truck but that was last summer so i didn't bother having them do it since it was so long ago.

Yeah, you've got a shackle flip. It takes your rear shackle hanger (shackle is the piece on the end of the leaf spring) and flips it upside down to be pointing downward instead of upward. It usually gives about 4" of lift, hence why you don't have to run a huge block. The spacer on the bottom is an alignment spacer to correct your pinion angle since the shackle flip moves your axle. I'm surprised they didn't do a U-bolt flip when it was being worked on, especially if you wheel that thing hard, plus it looks better.
