    4.8 Almost stock Dyno Numbers

    I dyno'd my silverado with a only a muffler swap at a local speed shop. I posted this info in my newbie thread but I figured I'd add it here, where it belongs. The truck put down 261hp/ 269torque on a Dynojet.
    I will be adding new numbers soon when I finish the exhaust on the truck. Stay tuned...

    Wow thats more than my 5.3 with shorties, cai, and plugs and wires put down... dynos dont tell the whole story tho...

    Doood I didn't know RC and EC dyno differently? Must be a Dynojet thing.....

    What gear are you guys doing your dyno pulls in? Wouldn't the stock speed limiter shut you down before you get a full pull in 3rd?
