    Decent stock time?

So I picked up a 2000 RCSB a few weeks ago with the 5.3. It has the 3.42 g80 rear and brand new 255/70/16 falken tires on the factory wheels. 156k on the clock and bone stock from the clutch fan to the tail pipe. Took it to the strip tonight here in south Florida and ran 15.5's and 15.6's at 87 with 2.3 60 foots. Track prep was terrible, couldn't brake stall higher than 800 rpm or it would just spin. Are these times decent? Couldn't find a good thread on stock times.

15's are pretty good for a completely stock truck. Not uncommon to see 16's in stock form. A few will even run as slow as 17. Got any fun plans? If not let me spend some of your money for you.

I'm definitely going to have some fun with this thing. It's not my dd, I bought it to modify. I've been doing a ton of reading on here and am not quite sure which way to go. I'm leaning towards heads/cam and laughing gas with supporting mods but if I got a good enough deal on a used turbo setup I might be persuaded. I've been trying to find a good answer on how much power a good setup in the 10 bolt can reliably handle.

being a 2000 and having 342s and little old id say thats pretty fair
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

To be honest the 10 bolt is holding quite well in a LOT of pretty high power applications as long as it's fitted with good parts. For the amount you'll spend beefing it up, you could swap to a 14 bolt though.
