I was reading is on here a few months ago. Seemed like a good cheap upgrade. So 2002-2004 is the best year ? Is there any stampings on the cams to identify it ?

You're gonna need hardened pushrods no matter what cam you install. They can't handle the stiffer valve springs.

Hardened pushrods then some ls6 yellow/blue springs and you're good.
