    silverado_lover's LM7 swap

5.7 coming out of this truck

And this engine (2002 5.3) will be taking it's place

A few parts I have in my room

Oil pressure sensor and coolant temperature sensor adapters

    Josh Powers A/C brackets

    LS1 E-Fans

Schoenfeld long tube headers with my Tiddies

So far all the parts I have gathered:
AC Delco EP381 Fuel Pump ACF-EP381
    Airtex Fuel Pump Strainers ATX-FS22
Airtex Fuel Pump Wiring Harnesses ATX-WH3000
    Earl's Performance AN to Metric Adapter Fittings -6 AN to 14mm x 1.5 O-ring EAR-9894DBHERL
Fragola Performance Systems AN to Metric Adapter Fittings -6 AN to 16mm x 1.5 O-ring FRA-491971-BL
Russell Fuel Rail Fitting Adapters Pressure side RUS-640850
Russell Fuel Rail Fitting Adapters Return side RUS-640860
    Schoenfeld Headers SCH-1302LS1
    (4)Summit Racing® Hose Ends -6AN SUM-220690B
    18" -6 AN Stainless Steel Hose SUM-G1001
Trans-Dapt Performance Engine Swap Motor Mounts TRD-4572
    LS1 E-Fans
    Performance Systems Integration '99 - '03 VORTEC W/ 4L60E STANDALONE WIRING HARNESS (DBC)HAR-1018
    Josh Powers A/C Bracket
CrateEngineDepot LS Series Flexplate Kit 12621399
    5.3 accessories
Street & Performance oil pressure sensor adapter
Street & Performance coolant temperature sensor adapter
    Magnaflow 3" DI 3" SO Y pipe 10798

The things I still need include:
    -PCM from Nelson Performance
-E Fan harness from Nelson Performance
    -Get my headers ceramic coated
    - Air intake
-Just small odds and ends such as a few accessory bolts, and radiator hoses.
-Lastly I'll have a exhaust shop bend me a y pipe.

So far I've spent $2,142.25 and I should have a total of ~$3,000 into the swap when all is said and done.

    Planned mods in the future include;
-220/220 112 LSA cam from TSP
    -3200 stall from Yank
    -fully built transmission
    -lastly a 100 shot.

I dream of someday putting a turbo on it but that will be out of my budget for an extremely long time.

    Thanks and gig 'em

Nice, and that's a great budget for the swap! Did you get the 5.3 cheap or just decide not to go with the 6.0?

I got it pretty cheap IMO

It has 48K, I got it for $500 without any accessories but I got all the accessories for $152 shipped

Right now I have two Thunderbolt cats (Harris county emissions) on the way and my MAF SHOULD be on the way coughDrewcough

    Thats great.
Where did you get your accessories for $152? I'd snatch that up right now if I could find them.
Do you have a link for the stand alone harness? How do you like it, is it of quality? Doesnt Nelson have them to?

    Thanks for the info

I bought them off a guy on FSC, he was replacing the 5.3 in his truck and the engine he bought came with the accessories so he had wanted to get rid of them.
Yes Nelson does make standalone wiring harness but since the company I bought mine is not a sponsor of this site and Nelson is I'll just PM you the link. And the company that made the harness does make a quality piece, and they have excellent customer service.

Thanks man, if I wasn't in school I could probably have it done earlier. My two days of finals are the 9th and the 14th so I'll probably go home on the 10th, pull the 350, and start the swap then take some other mode of transportation back to Galveston to take the test on the 14th. I have to work weekends (I'll probably take one off), so just about all the work will be performed on the weekdays.
