so i know your supposed loose a little torque with the ls3 intake on the lq4 over the truck intake. But my truck seems to be real sluggish off the line. if i go from a roll from say secound and i can get her into overdrive she screams. literly. second gear to over 90 and redline of somewhere near 7100 rpms. gets there fast also. but off the line is crap. is this typical? who else has the l92 heads and the l76/ls3 intake?

Don't think your problem is the heads and intake as far as off the line power goes. IMO it's the baby stall you've got. Most people would run a 3200 or 3400 stall with that cam. Put you up into the power band quick and get you moving. For my cam (219/230) I'm wanting a 3600.

Not low enough gears, heavy truck, small stall. Can't fix the weight so change others.

but with the same stall, weight truck and gears i had alot more in first gear before the heads and cam. i know you lose a little torque for the intake swap. but i lost alot. cant even power brake is anymore. i used to be able to spin the 33 inch tires i had on threw second gear from a roll

Your power band has just been moved up. Im telling you...get a bigger stall and you will be much happier.
