Yeah man I'd definately suggest not notching the frame. Ive heard so many people running into problems with it. Best just to get a compressor like mine of a sanden setup. My compressor was only like 160 new so its a really great buy. And the mount works it perfectly on the LS. Its machined real nice.

http://dirtydingo.com/store/product_...oducts_id=1378 -- AC Bracket (yeah no picture on their site but itll look like mine.) 274.99

    http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...zoneAssigned=1 -- Compressor new 169.99

And yes I am going to use my trucks stock ac hoses. But I bought new ones, theyre cheap.

Thats the guy that did my bracket. Just shoot him an email and tell him you want a ecm bracket. They come in natural or black textured like mine (which looks sweet). He ships fast its great quality and it was only 55$ or something shipped. He just sends you a paypal request. Super easy.

Oh and another bit of info. Good luck ever getting the avalanche transmission to mate to your NP241 transfercase. This info wasnt on the net before I started so ill go ahead and tell you. It wont work. So Im going to 2wd and ordering a new Dennys driveshaft for the back. Not regreting doing it that way a bit. But thats just my swap use that info for what it's worth to you.

They should be a simple two wire clutch on clutch off setup like mine. Cut the end an splice on some female spades and you're good to go. I got my harness from Nelson performance they did a great job but weren't the cheapest

yea i heard lol. i have a harness already i just need to convert it to dbc. thats about it. i found a guy on ebay charges 100 for it. so i sent him an email and see how it goes. i was looking at the stock pcm bracket for my truck and i realized i can mount the lm7 pcm underneath it. so im proabably going to do that.

Yeah cause you have the 2nd generation obs stuff right? Where the PCM is in the engine bay and the rounded dash and stuff right? You have a Tahoe and not a blazer?

hopefully. i gotta still order all the stuff to make the engine bolt up to the transmission. fly wheel, spacer, and bolts for the bell housing. im going to order those headers too. hopefully i can get the engine at least dropped in next week. then i can work on the wiring. theres a local guy who will do all the wiring for 450. then a member on here is going to flash tune and send me a pcm for 150! so after that i should be good to go. i think this swap will be easier than i thought.
