    I'm bored, so..............

    That Delta is probably a well built unit, but it has some down sides in my opinion:

    Delta:
    $159
    1/3hp (yuk)
    2.375" travel (yuk)
    5 speeds: 620; 1,100; 1,720; 2,340; 3,100 rpm
    lowest rpm is 620 (meh)
    1/2" chuck
    <LINK>

    I'd go with the Grizzly (if cost isn't a huge issue) or Craftsman (if you're watching your wallet):

    Grizzly:
    $359 shipped
    3/4hp
    3.25" travel
    12 speeds: 140, 260, 320, 380, 480, 540, 980, 1160, 1510, 1650, 2180, 3050 RPM
    lowest rpm is 140 (that's a good thing)
    5/8" chuck
    <LINK>

    Craftsman:
    $149
    2/3hp
    3.125" travel
    5 speeds: 620 (meh) - 3100 RPM
    1/2" chuck

    Would you recommend I wait because the grizzly is much more expensive than what I wanted to spend but it seems worth it. Also, the purchase is not immediate.

    I would go with the Craftsman. They build good tools, and that one is a really good buy for the money.

    Plus it just went on sale for $124.99 (online price). Shipping should only be between $30 - $40.

    I have a delta bought used at least two decades ago. I've never had it seem under powered. I've never had it get "stuck". And if you don't have your drilled material fastened/clamped down it will leave a mark.
