Don't forget the 1500$ hotpipes, cold side, blow off, wastegate, and turbo oiling. You're looking at 3000 or so for a budget turbo install.

Try looking at turbotrucks.com or the like they're sites pretty detailed as far as what a turbo setup consists of. Givr u a good idea of what you'll need. Couple guys on here have monster turbo trucks, very fast. Might wanna pm them too.

Trick Performance sells front mount hot pipes for $1200. Thats an option. Building your pipes will save you a lot of money for sure.

A decent oil pump for a rear mount isn't cheap either. A mail order tune with boost is a terrible idea. So count on some dyno time, which isn't exactly cheap. Cam swap or not, better valve springs are a must for FI. There's another $250ish. The 60e will be toast in a matter of weeks, no way around that. So be looking to spend north of $2000 for a decent unit from a good builder.

If you are going to tune it yourself, then you need to purchase hptuners. That's gonna be 500$ for std or 650$ for pro. If you get pro you can do Wideband tuning which you will need a Wide band, which will also cost you 200ish. Or you could buy EFI Live which has similar prices.

Seems like their are quite a few people running boost with a mail order tune and a 60e with success. Not saying its the best combo, because it definately is not. I would say it isn't totally terrible though. Kinda seems to depends on the supporting mods as well.

You can also sell your CAI to offset the cost.
