    Get at least a 200 amp machine. If you are going to be doing a lot of aluminum, I would suggest getting a water cooled torch setup. It takes a lot of heat/amperage to weld aluminum and the torch head gets really warm.

    thats true about all the bigass lincolns down here, im also in need of a welder, think im just gonna go get one from the pawn shop, difference between a good welder and a bad welder, is how good you can grind

    I have an old 400 amp welder that needs a new home...2 bills, come and get it. S.Texas - Pleasanton...
    It's setup for 220 now but could be wired 440 2 phase. I have 3 welders so need to get rid of one...
    '-05 people haulin' 5.3 crew cab. Nelson Tuned! 17.4MPG @ 75MPH...SLOW, but not bad.
