4L80e boom and has no gears

Went to the track and made some passes and had no issues. On the last pass made it about half way and the truck made a funny noise and I lost all gears, forward/reverse/everything except park. Me and others assumed the input shaft had broken. Got the tranny out of the truck and it's not broken. I can turn the input shaft by hand and it will try to turn the output shaft and vise versa. Pulled the pan and it's clean. Been reading about converters breaking and most say the verter will rattle if shook... Mine rattles alot. The tranny is an FLT and verter is a circle d 4200. Any ideas on what gave up??

If the input or output shaft were broken, park would not work. My guess is pump or converter if nothing works but park does. Can't think of anything else.

Pull the rear end cover and see what you find.

Park generally doesn't work with a blown rear axle either.....unless you weak blew it

I was hoping to not go any deeper in the tranny because of it being an flt. It'll void what little warranty that they have. Tranny has worked flawlessly for nearly a year.
