Muffler Question

i just installed pacesetter longtubes with catless y-pipe on my truck. the setup before this was magnaflow cats and a single chamber single in dual out muffler. after lt install the truck has a farm truck clapping sound exhaust note at around 3500rpm. what do i do about this? i want a cleaner sound all the way through the rpms.

i dont mind it being loud just dont want the farm truck sound. will the big a$$ magnaflow make it too quite? How does your spintech sound?

I had a 18" magnaflow that sounded pretty sick... also spintech makes mufflers that aren't too loud but still sound sick... check out their site...

Mine sounds like a farm truck at part throttle 2500-3500 RPM... but everyone that has heard it at WOT seems to love it. Ask stangz... she sounds mean.

Ya ever since sar my brother has wanted a spintech on his z lol playboys truck is mean!! I gotta 3.5" shootout pro spintech it's a race muffler it'd stuuupid loud but not goat roper at all!! Sounds sick!

I have a big 20" or so Magnaflow 4" on mine, it sounds pretty good - not too loud and no drone at highway speed.

I jacked mine from a diesel performance shop, guy took it off and put on a straight before he even started the truck.

Got mine from lenmar they had them from a turbo back kit kit for cummins
