The Grey Goose Lives AGAIN!
Just started up the goose for the first time in 2 years......It gave me butterflies LOLOL......
The brand new built LS1 Sounds so strong and it didnt throw any codes! Thank you Nelson Performance for the tune and help and anyone on here that has given my advice throughout this build!!! Now all I need is an f'n driveshaft to get it on the road!! Ill post up lots of videos here soon!!!
Oh btw, my 5.3 didnt actually die, when I took the motor out, I noticed the flexplate in the back was broken, (the motor inside and out is still clean) so now I have an 07 5.3 classic longblock I have no use for.....
Im gonna wait about 5000 miles to get some forced induction of some sort put on probably, just to let the motor break in a little and make sure everythings good..
If you guys didnt know what my motor has in it, here is a list of the specs:
Freshly Built LS1 5.7 Longblock, new rings, speed pro bearings, ARP Rod bolts, block cleaned and rehoned to fit new rings. Brand spankin new 241 Heads, new LS2 Timing Chain, new LS7 Lifters, Brand new black front and rear covers, Thunder Racing 7.4 Pushrods, Beehive springs, 216/220 .525/.534 114 LSA Comp Cam, ASP Underdrive pulleys, 160* stat, all powered by a Nelson Performance 93 Octane tune! Stock truck intake manifold and TB, 31 lb injectors, LTs, New wires, coils, 250 amp alternator!
