    theeirs nothing wrong with the rpm crank or rods i raan them in my camaro and i spun it 8k all the time never had an issue, and my engine builder paul runs them in his mustang and he turns his 8500, so they aint junk by no means

    incorrect, you had to pull intake to gain access to the lifter valley

    how are you getting a 408 with a 4.005 bore? 408 is a 4.030 bore on 4" stroke using 6.125 rods

    I think he already set this all up and told everyone 408 then Rex said the block only needed to go .005. Someone should change it to 403 for him.

    I have a 4.030'' block. we'll just swap and he can keep the 408ci build going.

    Thanks! and yeah. it started at a 408, we had a bitch of a time getting pistons.. so when we got our hands on the forged weiscos, direction changed to a 403. im not complaining.. ooh i lost 5 cubes.. ill make it up someplace else lol
