New guy from Waco. Referred to the site by Daniel(red03silss). I just bought an 01 silverado regular cab. The previous owner did a 4.3-5.3 swap. I am wanting to get ideas on how to make it quicker. First up is a nelson tune and pacesetters. Daniel said the nelson tune would help alot. How much do yall think these two mods would help?

The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......
Depending on the tune, you can pick up .5-.8 in the 1/4. Headers pick up quite a bit on the top end. I love your dash. I'd love to do mine the same way. If you are serious about wanting to go faster... My first suggestion is to get rid of those wheels for something lighter. I used to have those and swapping from 20" MM to 17" stockers made a world of difference.

thanks. i just bought the truck 3 weeks ago and im already about to get a tune, headers, and cold air for right now tell i save i little more money up. i wanna try to get some of the new 20" rims off of the new gmc or silverado..
