    do you plan on spraying it? or rebuilding it for spray? and keeping it a stock shortblock?
    I hardly think throwing spray on a truck is half assing it. I can see changing a cam if you're wanting an all out race truck... but if this is a truck you drive often, an NA cam is the way to go.

    updating this thread.....

    going in for a solid roller cam,lifters, shaft mount rockers to shift my baby at 8k rpms...still on a stock bottem end 5.3 dish pistons.....hoping to see if we can get better than an 11.93 next time around .....wish us luck.

    Nice runs bro. Is there a NNBS 5.3 running in the 11's NA? I though i saw a post on here of that truck. it was a RGV truck.

    nice runs man sounds strong, you beat my N/A record on my 6.2L hope you get into the 10's with spray

    to my knowledge my 5.3 n/a is the only one in the 11's right now in the RGV, i think.
