    Extended cab subwoofer box dimensions

    Anyone made their own subwoofer box thats goes under the back seat of an extended cab truck? I got two tens and wanna make the box that holds the subs facing down. Any body got any measurements of their box?

    Yep, I've got several designs that I have built.

    Hey Duct_tape123 would you recommend using shallow mount woofers with that box?

    I've got a pair of Rockford Fosgate P3s in the upper box. 1.73 cubic feet with just over 5.75" mounting depth. If the sub doesn't have a wide magnet you could squeeze a 6"+ sub in there. The lower box is 1.23 cubic feet with the same mounting depth but it has a 'recessed' area for my Rockford Fosgate Power1000 5 channel amp. If you can run a full depth sub, do it. You will be much happier with the output.

    Looks like I'll have to build the box for the crew cab differently than I usually do. But I already have the design for it =)

    You've seen the design. Normally I do them like you do. This is slightly different.
