99 lq4, 243 heads, comp cam, dyno run

Here is the video of the dyno run I said I would post. Its from last month when my brother and I had access to a dyno. This wasnt the best run of the day and we are still trying to learn how to tune with ls1 edit, but it is what it is... enjoy!

Those are some low numbers for a cammed 6.0

I know its a lq4 but my lq9 with stock cam, 317 heads, and stock intake with a 89 tune made like 324/345

Sounds good! With that motor, a bigger cam would help out alot, Im sure you already know that, but its got potential.

I think those numbers are decent, considering it's running through a stalled 80E and 285's.

Mine was with a stock stall 80e, and 14 bolt. Track times show me making around 480 now... But its not about who has the most power, again I just thought those were some low numbers for his mods.

The tc was locked in all the runs so that isnt an issue. If those numbers are low what would you say I need to change? I know a bigger cam would net better peak numbers but i stll tow with this truck and need it to be suitable for daily driver duty if and when my 250,000 mile beater car dies.

I would say keep working on the tune cuz i have seen 5.3's in that power range. Your cam is smaller than my 5.3 cam but its probably better suited towards your stall

considering the above, i would say swapping to a tbss or nnbs intake and possibly some porting to the 243s.....intake would def help and would be 1st on my list and then work on heads, and of course retuning. you would get what you want and be happy..... good luck....

All stock was 220 at the wheels you say? Well I guess if I picked up 130hp with these mods I probably shouldn't complain. Thanks for the info.
