    Question Which Radar detector do you prefer and/or recommend?

    I have looked at a few and considering the huge difference in prices and features i wanna hear what you think. best bang for your buck I'm thinking this would make a nice xmas present to me :thanks:

    Radar detectors are OK, as long as you bear in mind the cops currently have the upper hand. A radar detector can help you avoid some tickets, but a radar detector will not keep you from getting busted for speeding these days.

    Valentine One. But, I agree with the above. Detectors won't save you all the time, no matter which one you have.

    My thing is my head is already always on a swivel looking out for cops but i could just use the extra insurance/help against those sneakier ones. Sounds like the V1 is the most popular

    I'm running the escort solo 2. It pretty good, helped me alot. It's battery powered so there's no cord hanging in the way and no outlet being taken up. I replace batteries everyother month. It has a pretty good range on it too, I have caught a couple cops that have been over 2 miles away.

    Thanks man thats legit especially coming from an AZ local bc it clues me in on AZ cops and terrain etc etc I kinda dig the idea of keeping it really mobile like that too
