I wanted to share my latest project with you. About a month ago I bought back a truck that was near and dear to me and my wife. I had it when we met and we even drove it away at our wedding back in 2003. I bought my 94 K1500 back from a good friend who had it and only put about 7k miles on it. The tranny was weak when I sold it and it has continued to slip and not move when cold. Had a quote of around $2400 to pull it make it bullet proof and put it back in. So for the same money roughly I can put in a LSx swap.

Went to my local junk yard and bought a 2005 L33 complete pull out with trans. Just got it home today. Got a call last night from a guy that wants the TBI engine. So its all coming out soon. Stay tuned!

Glad to see you get a truck back that was close to you. I still wish i could find my first truck, a 93 ecsb. So many memory's Including my wife and i's wedding. Anyway looks like a cool project man i'll be keeping up with it maybe you will be able to help me with a few questions i'll have on my build i'm working on

This is my second OBS swap. Did my dad's 95 last year. Its a 2wd though.

Yeah i remember reading that you had done the other swap. The only thing i'm worried about is wiring the gauges and all that stuff. I'm not gonna steal your thread tho maybe you can check out my thread on here and help! Lol

Ya the L33 is staying stock, just a daily driver / trailer tugger truck.

cool! the 82 is finally running. took it to NP and got a live tune. its running real strong, spins the tires from a 35-40 roll. next mods are 4.11, and a tru trak(very soon), LT headers, stall, cam. do you daily drive the 79?

No the 79 has antique vehicle tags, so it gets little driving. Did put 2700 miles on it for Hot Rod Power Tour this past june. Looking forward to the 94 being a daily driver!

Very jealous, my 97 is somewhere in NC, I miss that truck ALOT. You can't put a value on a vehicle you have so many memories in, glad you got her back. Looking forward to the build as well.
