just want to know how common is it for are intake manifold gaskets to go out on out trucks. it was throwin po171 and po175 also had a low voltage for the maf. replaced the maf for the 2nd time in a yr. now its doing the same thing. frist start up it revs ti 1700 then down to 300-400 and wants to stall. this is only on cold start up only

Take a propane torch (don't light it) and spray it around the intake with the engine running, any changes, you know its the gaskets.

This may help with your MAF problem: http://performancetrucks.net/forums/...d.php?t=415733

And yes, your intake gaskets are junk. Replace them with the newer "teal" ones.
