    Did you fid the metal in the oil?

    It looked a little shimmery when i drained the oil last when i changed the lifters, but it wasn't like overly excessive. I guess I can scratch the stock cam dealio, just sent payment for a 212/218

    weeeeeeeeelll this past Sunday, I found this

    atleast its not a spun rod bearing


    it was an messed up day.
    chipped a thread in the crank, but that got fixed and then this
    broke off a valve cover bolt in the head

    and then this while trying to replace the gasket

    Is that the timing cover in the last pic? Looks like you had issues from a misaligned cover which led to the other problems maybe?

    No I was trying to remove the seal and broke it, lol.
