    Smile My SSR

Hey, guys. I've been AWOL for awhile, but I'm back with a new ride - a black '05 Chevy SSR.

After a day of guessing on FB and other forums about what I bought and some pretty sharp guessers, I might add, I took some photos tonight:

All of the photos are here:

    Enjoy.

Since my SSR is LS2 powered, I'll def be hanging out with you guys more. I've always loved the SBC, but this engine is a whole 'nuther animal for me.

Thanks in advance for questions asked and answered...

It seems like SSR's are one of those like 'em or hate 'em vehicles. I happen to like them. Always wondered how easy it would be to turbo one...

    Nice ride Larry...welcome aboard "again".

Thanks, guys. I'm more than a little excited about this truck. I'm looking forward to bringing it out to one of your events.

There seems to be plenty of room under the hood for turbos/superchargers/nitrous, etc. (all of the above? lol)

Agreed, I like them too. Now the question arises, is it an LS1Truck or LS1Car?

About the turbo, a quick google search led to this among others http://www.ssrfanatic.com/forum/f5/n...in-turbo-3349/

Nice!! Congrats Larry!! The SSR and the TBSS are on the exact same platform from the frame, suspension, engine, trans, rearend, and etc... So I know a twin turbo kit will fit

Thanks all. yeah, I've been plugged into SSR Fanatics.com. Seems like a knowledgeable dedicated group of SSR folks. Anyone knowof any local SSR groups?

Back to my original question, can you guys who recommended upgrades tell me recommended sources and possible price ranges? I need to spend my money on paper first, and hopefully only spend it once, if you know what I mean.

I ran a guy on the highway who had a damn good sounding exhaust. He was an older gentlemen with a fat cigar hanging out of his mouth with his wife smiling with the top down while we wrapped it up to like 110. Cool guy
