Thread: Stage 1 kit.

    What would you expect out of 5-7psi on a stock 5.3?

    Also work with a stock clutch fan?

    Stock fan would require a different routing system. Hp not sure so many variables, I would think 60-90 hp to the ground. Add meth turn the boost up 10-12 with a cam. 500hp range.
    But that's just guessing. Hp really cones down to tuning, cam, cubes, etc. A customer might move the air filter and get more power out of the kit then his buddy did. My filter is mounted off to the side and probably will reinstall the stock box and see if it helps air temps. If it does that item might get pulled and the price would go down

    Give me an idea what would need have to be done as far as cold side routing with a clutch fan.

    You would need to do something like this. WEre you start one way and 180 back to the turbo.
