    01 Tahoe fuel pressure problem!

i just bought a 01 tahoe with 133000 miles with a 5.3. its 4wd yada yada. it has 48psi fuel pressure on the rail (relief valve on passenger side) its supposed to have 55-62psi i believe. it drops to 0psi after shutting off and it drops quick. the dealer said he put in a new fuel pump, but it dont run like it. the pump comes on but seems to not hold prime or it is weak. he said he would look at it tomm and fix it at no cost to me i hope. does this seem to be fuel pump?

That or a line inside the tank bleeding off. I'll tell you next week when I open mine up. My 08 is doing the exact same thing.

FPR might be bad, or like stated the line in the pump could be cut or rubbed through. When I did a big intank pump swap, I noticed that the clear line that runs from the top of the pump into the hat of the bucket, was infact rubbed through from rubbing on the steel posts in the bucket.. Could be a weal pump, but they are the 2 things I would look at for sure
