i vote Spintech all the way.. even with my headers, dummy cats, and true duals with x-pipe, my dual Spintech's are 1/4 as loud as the old Flowbastard was at idle.. but WICKED at WOT...

the muffler i took off of my avalanche 2500 with an 8.1 is dual 3" in and dual 3" out, it was pretty quiet and would probably flow better than the stock 1/2 ton muffler and still be quiet. i didnt notice much difference except it was louder when i had a new exhaust put on it.

I have dual 6" round 14" long magnaflows to a single 5x11x22 dual 3" in, single 4" out (3 mufflers) along with dual 3" magnaflow cats. It should flow like hell and its pretty quiet as you might imagine....although I dont know what I could do to make it any quieter if it wasnt

^^^ Same thing I am doing. Got the LT's but no money to spare for a cutout right now.

Can't have loud pipes all the time with the baby.
