    Question cruise control conversion ?

Need some help. I would like to keep my cruise control thats in the truck. How can I run it through the factory switch on the column or can I? The engine is out of a 08.

Are you going with a drive by wire or drive by cable throttle body?

This is for a different year donor and recipient but it might be the same or close to it.

this is going to be quite a bit different from a '93 because the cruise controls on these older trucks ran of vacuum..........

    Still doing some thread reading......

why not upgrade to the electronic box?

If you have the electronic throttle pedal then wiring up the cruise will be nothing more than wiring the stock cruise button into the PCM properly. If you have a throttle cable then you can wire in an electronic style cruise box from a later model.
