    Thought nitto had them then discontinued em. My buddy had 305/40/20s all the way around.I think 295s came out to 11.9 inches wide and 305s are exactly 12inches. could be wrong.

    yes nitto had the 305/40/20s

    remember nittos are smaller then actual other tires. a 305 nitto is like a 275 MT or BFG

    Okay so I have 255/35/20 and 275/35/20 nitto 555 on my '85 both are to small where they're at thought about scrapping the 255/35s and putting the 275/35s on the front and getting 295/40s for the rear. So these nittos are smaller then average tires? Is it because of where they're made? I thought the first number is width measured in mm and the second number is sidewall height percentage of the width?? So they're just pulling the first number out of the air instead of it being a true 305mm?
