    Changed my mind need info

Hey guys, I've been doing some reading on the LS motor an from what I've seen the LS motor is the way to go!!!!

So is there anyone around me that can call me to help me with my swap?? First off I need a motor an trans!!! I live in Houston and if you wouldn't mind message me your number or you can call me 281-515-9259 anytime tonight iam up late.

My plan is to get a low miles motor an just put it in stock for now then do upgrades later. The V6 in my truck is well be run hard and I need to do this cheap cuz I was laid off this year.

    My name is John

Hey what's up this is going in a 96 rcsb the truck is a 4.3 5speed. I've got alot for a 5.7 vortec block, heads, scat 6" rod, SRP forged pistons, roller rockers, iam also looking at the muther thumper cam kit..

So, you going with a 5.7(350) Vortec, or an LS engine? They are different. LS1 is a 5.7...sort of. Its actually 346 cubic inch. Then you have the 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 & 6.2 LS series engines...etc.

You can pick them up even cheaper than that on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market. I'm pretty sure that's where I'm going to source a motor from for my project.

    I'm leaning toward a 6.0 drop in for my 96 S10 SS.
