Well I called turbonetics and they said to run a 66 and most of the turbos that I see are 67 and 70's I just want to make sure I have good overhead for later!

it would be so easy to install a tvs 1900 but I am worried about upgrading it later and the turbo kit I am so worried about blowing up the transmission and I will be moving across country soon if it blows I will be screwed and I have already decided I will just get a built 4l60e insted of the 80e

A tvs 1900 or turbo can both make quick work of a stock or mildly modded 4l60. The t62 turbo is good for about 500 rwhp and will spool fast on a 5.3. If you want more power than that you will need a 4l80. A fully built 4l60 is only good for 500-550 rwhp. A stock 80e will last forever at that level of power and go well beyond that power level with ease.

So if I go with a 66 or 68 will it have turbo lag?

You started multiple threads pimping a non-sponsor turbo kit. The first thread was deleted, so you started a second one. That one was deleted and you were given a TEMPORARY ban, so you registered under a different screen name and started a third thread and were banned for 30 days. I think it's YOU that's the problem, not the staff on pt.net. Slow learner?

    that first smiley......

I love the performance truck world.

Ryan, I make ~575hp from the tvs on my 5.3L, do you really want more? add a small shot and make another 50hp and 200 ft.lbs.
