ok so i was running around with 20" rims that were meant for a toyota, one of which had a slight inner lip bend and i could never get them to get a good ballance to where i wouldn't have the quakes and shakes going down the road. well now i have had them replaced with ones that are meant for a chevy hub but now i am hearing a noise like what you would hear with offroading tires, you know that humming because of the knoby tread. my question is, since running with the out of balance rims and tires for so long have i beat the hubs on my 01 4x4 tahoe ls to death or could the noise be coming from the tires them self? the noise starts at roughly 15mph and continues on from there. i don't wanna be stuck on the side of the road cause i beat my front hubs to death(i have a 45 minute commute each way with no parts houses on the way)
