    Hey Mic? How much hp and tq can a stock allison hold? I thought they were pretty stout. Would you say they are the weak point?

    they can hold 100hp, and 200 tq or so over stock for a while, and and hold up to 225 hp and 3-400 tq over for short runs here and there. they are not weak, will just not take the power... they will sense slip and kick into limp mode...makes them almost impossible to break... but, once you start limping them, it takes less and less to get them to do it. and if you want to go faster just have to get good clutches and they will hold 7-800 hp.. like mine...

    So on the nos old chiply did make 460rwhp. but not NA a 175 shots pretty big only about 50 hp less then the stock 5.3 at the wheels ha its BS
