    Truck is down again...

I was driving today out of sonic and the traffic was intense and had to kinda step on it (not all the way) to turn left into the other lane. Well right when it shifted from 1st to 2nd, it barely caught second and made a screaching grinding sort of sound. I can put it in park and nuetral but when I put the truck in any gear it just screaches again.
I got it towed to the shop and a buddys gonna take a look for me to see what it is. My dumbass forgot to check the rear axle to see if my grenade back there exploded The noise sounds like its coming from the tranny but have no idea. I hope its nothing major, but knowing my luck and the sound of the noise Im thinking its the output shaft. It sucks cause I just got the tranny built.

I guess if its the rear end Ill be doing 4.10s and a Eaton or trutrac. If the tranny is screwed it will be time for an FLT, but if damage is minimal ill just get the part replaced. Wish me luck!

    good luck.

So many times when the rear goes it takes the trans with it. When will people ever learn that the g80 is not a performance LSD?

    Fixed my screw up.

Thanks sir. I have the 60e though?
If the rear end blows up can you still roll it in nuetral or park it? Just curious cause I was able to do both but have never experienced the problem.

Oops Lol Read the screw up too quick

I was thinking the g80 was on its last leg either way, especially with the amount of pressure put on it when the truck was super jacked up.
