    2009 LS1Truck Raceday at SAR

2009 Official LS1Truck Raceday at San Antonio Raceway!

Where: San Antonio Raceway in Marion, TX
    When: Saturday, February 21st 2009
Time: Gates open at 10am, close at 5pm
    Who: All GM Trucks/SUV

Finally, a day of Racing for all GM Trucks/SUV's.

All GM trucks are welcome to participate in LS1Truck.com's first official GTG.
The track is open exclusively to LSx and GM powered trucks and suvs.

San Antonio Raceway is located between San Antonio and Houston in Marion, TX. I 10 East, exit Santa Clara.

Yahoo! Maps, Driving Directions, and Traffic

The event will be held on February 21st 2009.
Gates will open Saturday at 10am and time only runs will start at 12noon. Racing will continue throughout the day at your convenience until 5pm.

This gathering is geared towards providing a fun race day at SAR with no commitments and scheduling. It's a time to hang out and talk trucks all day with fellow truck enthusiasts.

SAR will be 100% available; the consession food stand, air, nitrous and race gas stations will all be open. (sorry no bbq pits allowed)
The food/drinks stand will be open.

In order to run your truck down the track, all trucks must pass SAR's tech inspection. If you've ever ran your truck at the track, don't worry about tech inspection, your truck will pass.
Times will be posted and timeslips will be handed out.

This will be a great time to test and tune your new setup as well. You'll have about 5 hours to do so!

    Who can attend?

Anyone can spectate, so bring your friends and family. However, the race track is limited to GM trucks and suv's only. Any LSx powered truck can also race. LS1Truck.com has rented the track for it's members and other truck enthusiasts with GM powerplants. If other makes and models were allowed, this would turn into a huge competition, this needs to be limited to GM truck competition only, hence LS1Truck Raceday.

February days in San Antonio are typcially sunny and cool, so expect to run one of your best times!
The majority of racers are staying over night in SA so they can get an early start. See the list of Hotels below.
