See. You're all too worried about arguing to listen to the voice of reason. Look back through the topic and both of you realize there is no difference in functionality although there are a myriad of designs. No, the 6.0 coils are no different. You cannot either one tell the difference and there are 4.8's and 5.3's and 5.7's out there with stock coils and they may or may not look like what either of you have.

It's cool....but the 6.0's didn't have a different part number (they use the same numbers as the other LS truck V8's) and there are more than one type of coil (because of vendor) for more than one year. They are interchangeable with exception of the mounting brackets and the plug wire length.

Haven't you (general anyone "you") wondered why the aftermarket wire are long?

Yep, mine too. Wanna know why? 'Cause they're MSD and they're made long to fit all coil designs.

    LOL

Please tell me where you picked up that IC for that price. I want to have another option instead just of methanol injection.

If you watch that vid, the guy lays out all the part numbers from
like 3 different vendors for the LQ9 coil pack. Probably why they
look different but made to same specs for GM.

The stock 5.3 coils on my truck now look exactly like LS2 coil packs

Lets talk oil supply and return.

For supply I'm assuming we tap into the oil pressure sending port ......
but where is that ? need any special adapters or fittings to feed off of it ?

What about oil return ? Easy way to tap pan with out removing ?
or is there some other place to return oil on these motors ?

    Thanks

You can pressurized oil above the oil filter where the optional cooler lines bolt on.

Ok, I see the port above the oil filter for feed.

Will have to take a look at front cover when I do the e-fan install.

Pretty easy to find ? I'd rather not drop the pan off if there
is an acceptable way to return oil on this engine some other place.

Where does STS and other rear mount systems "pump" the return oil to ?

Yep dropping the pan should be a snap.

Thats the worst place to do it. Every time I'm around an STS kit
I am thoroughly unimpressed. The kits for the late model Stangs are
    just flat out junk.

    Thanks for all the help

Looks like the oil fill neck on passenger valve cover is
going to be in the way.

Is there a way to put the shorter camaro filler neck on there ?

Searched ebay and google for them, couldn't find anything .............
    link ? part number ?
