    Yeah, the only way would be to put it behind the tire which is prob where it should be. But it is where it is.

    Good idea. It is an Optima like you said, so If you think it hangs down to far maybe put it with it's side towards the ground. I know that would prolly require more work than you're already done with the box and everything

    Or rotate it 90 deg. and mod the bracket a little, looks like it would give you at least an inch, that's not much work for an another inch!!!

    what was the reason you relocated the battery?

    room for turbo , asthetics ??

    The turbo kit I bought was designed (poorly) so the air intake filter went where the battery sits. Turns out I'm now going to do it on the passengers side now. It's cool though - it should help with traction - even if it's minimal.

    LOL! I've actually had that happen before. Both on Haskell and on Gaston right behind Fair Park. Makes you want to smack em with a driveshaft.
