    priced right to some might be 60 bucks, while to others it might be anything under 300....

    its hard to give a recomendation without knowing what he likes and can afford

    well they are getting progressively worse. I just need something that sounds good and will sound better when I run a single 12" sub (something along the lines of a kicker comp) off a 2 channel amp. Nothing spectacular

    well since theres still no budget... lol.

    heres some various options

    *some of my personal favorite speakers and for the price cant be beat (unless going DIY)
    PIONEER TS-C720PRS 6-3/4" 2-WAY COMPONENT SPEAKERS NEW - eBay (item 140283188409 end time Dec-19-08 13:10:31 PST)

    for a more budget minded person:
    PHOENIX GOLD RSd 65cs 6.5" COMPONENT SPEAKERS RSd65cs - eBay (item 400008802138 end time Dec-12-08 16:46:07 PST)

    and for an amp:
    PHOENIX GOLD V752 2-Channel RYVAL CAR POWER AMPLIFIER - eBay (item 170280579150 end time Dec-19-08 23:26:54 PST)


    and remember that ALL of these items can be found for much cheaper on audio forums.

    the RSD's have great low end response for the price. You might notice some light dryness in the tweeters but for 70 bucks i dont think you can find a better set
