    Power steering hoses and fittings

Can anyone help with the bill of materials needed for my power steering adaptation.

    I'm runnin a 1996 GMC K1500 with a LQ9 with GTO accessories.

I need to know the inlet and outlet sizes and thread types on the pump and gearbox. Reccomended line sizes would help also.

If anyone has info on the 05 GTO pump ports that would help also.

Rick, it should be a M16 X 1.5 on one side and M18 X 1.5 o-ring fitting on the other.

Thanks bud, I think that's why that hose is leaking. I think they threaded a standard inch size fitting in there, hopefully I can get the metric one to seal or no racing on Friday... I Overnighted the fittings I need from S&P, they confirmed its a 16 and 18mm, same with the port on the GTP power steering pump, its a 16mm as well.

Sweet, I think the rears are 6" to the inside and the front 4.5" to the inside but I wouldn't recommend the 9.5" wide fronts like I have rick. Go with a 9" or 8.5 if possible to avoid control arm interference issues. The best bet for you is to take it to a wheel shop and have them measure your wheel size for the max offset since yours is 4wd and mine is 2wd.

I wish there was a decent wheel shop here in Wisconsin. They all want to give you stock size offset and width. That is far from what i need with the horsepower I am running. I am thinking a 10" rim in the rear and a 9 inch wheel in the front.

Anyone running these? I am considering them for my truck.

I'm running the bfg kdw tires and don't have any complaints. I have always liked the bfg tires since the old school t/a radials.

    OBS 4 x 4 Bolt Pattern

fwiw, all the new 20" 6-lug wheels off the new escalades, tahoes, trucks, etc., fit your 4wd. Very cost effective at this moment in time.
