    Please Read

Just a request by the moderators as a whole to please keep in mind how language, lewd comments, avatars, etc. may affect others.

There are a number of members here that have young children that are old enough to read and understand what is being posted on the site. We're not Chucke E. Cheese or anything but we want to keep the site fairly family friendly. I know personally if I had a son I would want to show him the site, get him involved with what the site is about, and so on. But with some of the posts in the chat box and the threads, I would not have him around while I was on here.

Another aspect to consider is that the site is viewed by existing and potential sponsors. If we can keep the site as respectable as possible, this will go a long way toward building a reputable site that stands out among the other truck performance forums.

We have an awesome group of guys (and girls) here and for the other moderators, I want to say "thank you" for making this site what it is.

This site has always been a family-friendly site. Not to put it on Allen's shoulders, but he has some pretty solid ideas of where & how he wants the site to be. The line(s) have to be drawn somewhere. It's a balancing act for sure to enforce rules and try to keep all of the members and sponsors happy with the site.

LS1Tech is an established website with a tremendous following. We've only just begun, even though the site has been around a while. Wouldn't it be awful if the only sponsors we could attract here were unfavorable? We want quality sponsors and we are a reflection on their company. How would it look to Scoggins/Dickey if we had porn on here? We've got to treat each other with the same level of respect that we would expect from our site sponsor or businesses we deal with. How would you feel about going to a restaurant and the waiter came over and said "what you mother effers want to eat? Hurry up, I have better things to do than wait on your asses." Would you eat there a second time or recommend them to others? I would guess 99% of you would never go there again. We all want to be respected. I know some of us know how to take a joke but you never know what frame of mind the person on the other side of the screen is in. You may offend, entertain or totally infuriate them.
