    The 4L60E , the 700R4 and the TH350/400 all have the same slip yoke that goes into the transmission housing.

    But, the th350 and th400 are not the same length as the 700r4/4l60e; they are shorter. so, if you decide you want to take advantage of the extra power handling/reliability of these two 3 speed autos, then you will need a longer driveshaft made. of course those of you with ls1's that want to do this will have to have a new belhousing or addapter fabbed. just some more info. :flipoff:

    Cool, good info, once my truck becomes too powerful for the 60e, i'm going to do the TH350 swap. there's a company that makes the overdrive kit for the 350 and can handle 1000hp,

    also, the older type vortec TBi 4l60e's have a different bellhousing and input shaft,

    the more info, the better,
